3 Years – A journey not a destination!

The 3rd of July is our Independence Day, the day Anderson Wise was incorporated and proud to be “Made in Luxembourg”.

We started trading in September 2019, just merely 6 months ahead of Covid, the Pandemic, Lockdowns… It gave us enough time to (re)establish connections with clients and candidates and it has been an incredibly satisfying journey during the most unusual times ever.
We have an amazingly talented team, most of whom I have worked with for over 10 years! There are 12 of us based in Luxembourg, now with a physical presence in Ireland and the US.

We continue to attract talent and establish talent corridors from other Business Centres and support #Talent4Lux initiatives by the Ministry of Economy, aimed to attract more experienced hires as well as more Graduates/Interns through their recently launched ‘Luxembourg Talents Hub’.
Luxembourg has so much to offer, and I am particularly motivated by attracting and growing talent through internship programs before they start their career. Passionately believe that one day, if we all work together, Luxembourg will be recognised as the ‘Internship Capital of Europe’, providing a fresh pool of talent entering the workforce every year.

At Anderson Wise, we are all motivated to support a strong economy in Luxembourg and hence, we have been very active in promoting the #MoveToLux campaign. Our role is simply to assist and drive initiatives to attract talent to Luxembourg with several associations and government bodies.
Personally, I was very pleased that AW was recently recognised by the Luxembourg Government to become a founding partner of the Luxembourg-UK Club, an initiative driven by the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce and the Luxembourg Trade & Investment Department.

AW team is highly community oriented and independent which has given us an opportunity to ‘give back’, through concrete initiatives identified and decided by consensus.

What I am most proud of is our #Profit4Good initiative driven through the Katharina Kitzinger Memorial Fund (in memory of David Kitzinger’s wife who passed away too early. Katharina was the creative mind and soul behind our brand), over the last year we have supported…

• ‘Living Hope NGO’ (Ukraine) where we helped to facilitate the refuge of over 40 people from Odessa, mostly children. Luxembourg received 3 young ladies with 3 children and their grandma.

• ‘Ile aux clown ASBL’ (Luxembourg) whose primary objective is to bring good humour, joy and smiles to people facing, temporarily or not, difficult living conditions, usually in hospital.

• ‘Help for the Massai’ (Tanzania) supports the development and education of young adults in their professional training/university education in northern Tanzania, especially for women.

• We are currently working on our Sustainability Charter to provide structure and increase our commitment to our #Profit4Good initiatives. One of the first initiatives we have introduced is #Talent4Trees. Our aim is to plant trees, thousands of trees, forests of trees! On top of our own annual commitment, we will plant 1 tree for every placement we make. Together we will grow forests.

We are all highly grateful to all our partners, clients and candidates who continue to support and champion AW to succeed. Thank you for sharing our journey!
