Putting candidates first!

The pandemic has accelerated a change in employee habits faster than anyone could have predicted. Coupled with a scarcity of qualified candidates, today is Luxembourg’s moment of truth.

“It’s no longer about you ‘choosing them’. It’s much more about ‘them choosing you’.”
(Greg Savage – Global leader of the recruitment industry)

To continue to deliver an exceptional service to partner clients and candidates, Anderson Wise has established a new function within the recruitment and executive search industry in Luxembourg.
Introducing the Business Support Manager, this new function will assist in developing the AW attraction and unique candidate experience strategy, including the development of the AW Candidate Alumni.

Managing Partner, Darren Robinson, says ‘I have spent over 25 years in the recruitment industry and I have always recognised the benefit of putting the candidates’ priorities first. Not only is it commercially prudent in the long-term, it is also a moral obligation to support candidates. Anderson Wise has removed all the short-term objectives that the many recruitment firms are subjected to, such as a growth strategy and short-term profitability that ignores local social responsibility.

The Partners at Anderson Wise share the same vision and, having worked together for 10 years, it was natural to create AW around their common values and common goals, putting customers (candidates and clients) first.

Robinson continues: ‘This year we have hired 3 Business Support Managers. Establishing AW was never about creating excess profits, increasing our support function is about creating more value in the recruitment process for our partners (clients and candidates). In such a short time, we are now recognised as the leader in the market and I believe the leader has a responsibility to continue to push for more qualitative solutions and an improved candidate experience, as well as to take social responsibility seriously
